Captivating

Cap*ti*vat*ing – to be fascinating

Have you ever thought of yourself as CAPTIVATING? It is hard for most women to think that way about themselves. Are we vain if we think that way? Did you know God sees you as Captivating? Better yet this question have you ever thought of yourself as being in God’s image?
Re-read Genesis and recapture the story of creation. Take note the order of all he created. Darkness, light, water, land, grass, fruit trees creatures that can fly and swim then animals of every kind. Then God sets upon us his very own IMAGE.

The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. GEN 2:7

Did you notice God BREATHED the breath of life into man, but wait it gets better? God realized things still weren’t completed yet.

It is not good for the man to be alone. GEN 2:18

And the Lord God cast a deep slumber on the human, and he slept, and He took one of his ribs and closed over the flesh where it had been, and the Lord God built the rib He had taken from the human into a woman and He brought her to the human. GEN 2:21-31

She becomes the crown of creation, the end. She fills a place in the world nothing and no one else can fill. God created Eve from Adam who was created in HIS image.
Adam and Eve were the first relational beings; God brought Eve to Adam to start an intimate relationship with. Take note of why and how you were created before you answer the question "Am I captivating?"

Thanks for reading,
Allie
